My Story
I use to work for one of the largest Design companies in the UK and really enjoyed the work. I had no plans to leave, but unfortunately there are some things you cannot control (i.e. the economy) and so like many other people. One day I was in employment and the next I was unemployed! One day you think everything is OK you're rolling along nicely, and for whatever reason the next day everything changes. I thought about getting employment with another job but I decide I may as become self employed. Take a risk with my own business opertunity so I started to work from my spare bedroom. I have now expanded into my converted garage (my little joke). I really enjoy my life and I wouldn't change a thing.
I started www.there-fore.com my own Graphic and Web Design Business over ten years ago, I also have www.therefore-hosting.com see or special 4.99p deal. I have also recently started www.printingservices-online.co.uk I supply printed material like business cards and leaflets cheaper than many local printers in my area. This really is Armchair Printing as I don’t even own a printing machine. If you have worked in the graphic design, advertising or media business and you think you could do the same. It turns out; having to leave my last employer was the best thing that ever happened to me. I've learnt so much about business and other peoples businesses and how the Internet is changing the way we work and spend our money. More importantly about all of the new business opportunities that are around today compared to ten years ago when I first started.
